PST - First General Assembly September 29th @ 3:45

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmetullahi wa baraakatuhu,

We pray that you and your families are having a pleasant and blessed fall season.

Research has proven that children benefit academically and emotionally when their parents/guardians are involved in their education. Parent volunteers offer a huge resource and support base for the school and Abraar School welcomes this warmly.

This letter is a desperate call to Abraar Parents to join The Parents Support Team (PST). 

Current State of PST: 

Due to the lack of parent volunteers, the current PST will now cater to the activities of the Primary School only. The current team consists of the following members:

PST Elementary: (responsible for activities in the Fieldrow Branch)

-Chairperson: Mahwash Fatima
-Treasurer: Hellay Mojadidi
-Co chair position : Naaz Ahmed
-Secretary position: OPEN

PST Secondary:  (responsible for all activities in the Grenon Branch)

-Chairperson: OPEN
-Treasurer: OPEN
-Co chair position : OPEN
-Secretary position: OPEN

We are very hopeful that Abraar parents will step up and join the PST and the student activities and programs will continue in the same way they have been going on all these years insha’Allah.

The PST would like to invite all parents to attend the General Assembly meeting on 
Monday September 29th @ 3:45 pm at 70 Fieldrow Drive.

If for any reason you are unable to attend the meeting and would still like to be part of the PST please send us an email at pstabraar@gmail.com.

At this meeting:

• It will be determined what activities have enough volunteers to take place this year.
• Brainstorming ideas and suggestions to further engage students and to enrich their school experience.
