TALENT SHOW 2017

Abraar School 2017 Talent Show

Assalamu Alaikom

We are pleased to announce that The Parent Support Team (PST) will be hosting a Talent Show at Abraar School. This is a fun event for the children run by the children.

The Talent Show will be held on Wednesday May 10. Time is yet to be determined.

Anyone affiliated to the school can participate in this fun event, students, staff, and even the Principal!!!

YOU can perform any talent you have! Example: Song, Martial Art, Acting Performance, Comedy, Magic Show etc.  Please keep in mind that all performances need to adhere to Abraar behaviour and values.

Live Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 22, between 12pm & 3pm, at the School.

Please submit the registration form below, before the date for live auditions. Auditions must be between 2-5 minutes long. And will be judged by our panel of judges. 15 performances will be selected to perform on stage at Abraar School’s on May 10

Auditions for the host positions are open for students from Gr.5 and Gr.6 only.

MOVIE NIGHT @ ABRAAR - March 24th

How do you get tickets?  Tickets will be sold at $3.00 per person- NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR you can purchase your tickets online by clicking below:

PLEASE NOTE – we would love to accommodate everyone but we are limited to a capacity of 250 in the Gym, so ticket sales will be on a first come first served basis.

Finally bring your own chairs, blankets, teddy bears and your enthusiasm for a

Fun Family night!  

We will be selling pizza, popcorn and drinks.

A call for help

A call for help to the Abraar school community.

As you all know the school security level is currently set at “Vigilant/Safe Code”. In order to ensure that our children stay safe we are asking to get some parents help monitor the school premises.

The school needs help during the following hours;

Elementary Campus

·         8:00 am-8:45 am (monitor doors/hallways and assist students in the hallways)

·         Morning Recess: School yard duty

·         Afternoon Recess: School yard duty

·         Dismissal Time: Monitor doors/hallways

Secondary Campus

·         8:30-9:10 am (monitor doors/hallways)

·         Morning Recess: School year duty

·         Afternoon Recess: School yard duty

·         Dismissal time: Monitor doors/hallways

If you are interested to help and can give an hour of your time, please contact the school directly.
